Removing a DDR DIMM Before you can install a new DIMM in a socket, remove first any previously installed DIMM from that socket. See page 35 for more detailed instructions. Locate the DDR DIMM socket on the mainboard. 51 3 Press the holding clips on both sides of the socket outward to release the DDR DIMM (1). Gently pull the DDR DIMM out of the socket (2).
