Working with Pictures 47 Editing pictures in ACER Image Zone in Media Center You may need to refresh the window to view your edited picture in your ACER Image Zone folders. n You can make changes to your pictures in ACER Image Zone from the desktop. Some of the editing features include removing red eye, cropping, resizing, and rotating images. 1 Press the Media Center Start button on the remote control, or, with your mouse, click Start on the taskbar, and then click Media Center. The edit window appears when you select a picture file. Select the arrow buttons under the picture to crop your picture. Select Save As when you are finished editing the picture. Select OK to save your edited picture. 2 3 4 5 6 7 ACER Image Zone Crop in Media Center Sharing Pictures in ACER Image Zone For more information about the ACER Instant Share tools, refer to the Help menu in the ACER Image Zone program. n You can quickly share your photos with friends and family by first creating e-mail shortcuts and then sending thumbnails of your photos. The recipient then clicks on a link in the e-mail message to view the full-size photo on a secure Web page without downloading any attachments. The Web page is automatically displayed in a language based on the recipient's Web browser settings. The photos can be viewed, printed, and saved to a computer. Before you can share photos in Media Center, you must agree to the license agreement in the desktop version of Image Zone. Working with Pictures 51 Using My Pictures in Media Center My Pictures is a folder on your hard disk drive in the My Documents folder, and it is a Media Center menu item that allows you to view and search for your digital images by using the remote control or the keyboard and mouse. It provides all the tools you need for viewing, organizing, editing, printing, sharing, and protecting your digital images. Press Ctrl+D on the keyboard or press the i (More information) button on the remote control, and then select Add Pictures. Select Add folders, and then select Next. Select Add folders on this computer, and then select Next. Use the arrow buttons on the remote control or the arrow keys on the keyboard to select a location. Press the OK button on the remote control or press the Enter key on the keyboard to expand a folder. When you find the folder that contains your picture folder, select it by making sure an arrow appears next to the folder. Repeat this step to add additional folders, and then select Next.
