Once you connect the AC adapter to the computer, the battery begins to charge whether or not the computer is on or off. The battery indicator shows the battery status. To connect the AC adapter 1 Plug the cable attached to the AC adapter into the DC IN port on your computer or docking station. You can point to, select, drag, and scroll objects on the screen using the built-in touch pad. In many programs, this action displays a shortcut menu of context-sensitive choices. Slide one finger while pressing the left button. Move your finger along the right edge of the touch pad to scroll vertically. If you are still unable to shut down the computer, you can press the power button and hold it for more than four seconds.
