Internal buzzer is activated by applying 0V to Buzz Ctrl (Orange Wire) The ACTProX Range of Readers can read HID Clock & Data format,  HID 26-Bit Wiegand format and the ACTSmart2 format.  [. . . ] Leave the SENSE line unconnected for an Exit Reader or for operation with Wiegand Cards. The +5V reader supply on ACT controllers is normally rated at 1A for the ACT 2000 and ACT 3000 Controllers and rated at 100mA for the ACT1000. Typically this is sufficient to power 2 ACT readers; however if you are using two readers with the ACT 1000 controller we do recommend that you power the ACT Readers from 12v. Note however that readers from other manufacturers may need to be powered separately if their current requirements exceed this or if they require 12v.
