VoSKY Exchange is the world's first VoIP gateway that brings Skype Internet calls to an office environment. Exchange seamlessly bridges the existing PBX to the Skype network to provide inexpensive long distance and international calls. By adding four Skype lines to your PBX, Exchange provides access to Skype Internet calls for every extension in the office even to those without computer access. The users simply pick up their office phone, dial a few numbers, and they are able to place and receive Skype Internet calls. [. . . ] Log in with Username "admin" and Password "password". Internet Calls for Everyone, EverywhereTM 28 Once you are logged in, the Welcome to the VoSKY Exchange page will come up. The left panel contains the Administrator links needed to modify information such as adding or viewing Skype contacts, or changing your account information such as your username and password. The required fields are the Skype ID and the Speed-Dial number. The other fields, Contact Name, Email, and Comments are optional. Internet Calls for Everyone, EverywhereTM 30 Viewing and Modifying Skype Contacts Click on the View My Contacts option in the left panel of the account manager to view the list of all the available contacts. On your office phone, dial the number to access the Skype line. If you don't know this number, ask your Exchange administrator for this information. Enter your SkypeOut contact's number using the following number format: 00 + country code + area code + local phone number. Answering Skype Calls Your phone behaves the same way regardless of whether it's receiving an incoming mobile, landline, Skype, or SkypeOut Internet Calls for Everyone, EverywhereTM 36 call. Pick up the phone and answer it. Allowing Skype Users to Call Exchange Skype users can call Exchange office users by calling into Exchange through Skype and then dialing the normal office extension number. Give the Skype user all of your company's Skype IDs. Regardless of the Skype ID you give out; all of your company's Skype IDs must be set to accept calls from any user. To change this setting, refer to step 5 in the section Activating Your Skype Accounts in this user manual. 2. The Skype user calls any one of the Skype IDs. If that ID is busy, Exchange looks for an available line, and calls the caller back using the available ID. When the user establishes a connection with Exchange, he receives a Skype chat message on his computer. If all four Skype IDs are busy, the caller gets a busy message and Exchange hangs up. Internet Calls for Everyone, EverywhereTM 37 3. After receiving the Skype chat message, the user needs to enter the office user's normal extension number. Depending on how Exchange is configured, the chat message will tell the user to enter the extension number either on the Skype message window or through the Skype dial pad. Advanced Options Advanced options are configured in the Settings tab of the Exchange Administration Console. To open the Exchange Administration Console: 1. On the PC Server, log into one of the Windows user accounts (user01, user02, user03, user04) that you activated a Skype account in. 2. Double click on the Exchange Administration Console's desktop or system tray icon.
