The Home Cinema systems MAV-501combines a superb presentation to perfect technical accuracy The MAV-501 is the ideal complement of your Home Cinema systems, it will be the perfect combination with your AV receiver. With MAV-501, nothing was left to chance, all the components are sound-friendly: it has a high power toroidal transformer, bipolar high current transistors, pulp cellulose cone woofers and special treatment dome tweeter to ensure outstanding performing ability, as weel as a delicate and subtle rendering of your favorite music. The MAV-501 Home Cinema systems is the perfect combination of an active subwoofer MAV-501SUB, four satellite speakers MAV-501 SAT and one center speaker MAV-501 center. When the “POWER“ switch is set on “AUTO ON/OFF“, the subwoofer will automatically switch on as soon as an audio signal is detected and will go in standby mode when there is no audio signal coming after few minutes. In AUTO mode, when your subwoofer start, it will emit a “plop“ noise related to the capacitors loading. When you switch the button on OFF, the subwoofer is totally switch OFF and can’t be activated automatically when audio signal is coming. If you expect not to use the subwoofer for a long period, it is recommended to set the power selector to OFF. In case of stormy weather, unplug the power cable. POWER CORD / VOLTAGE SELECTOR Your appliance is working in 220V/Hz, To use your appliance, please connect it to the outlet. The right adjustment is when the bass level is higher and better coherence. CROSSING FREQUENCY ADJUSTMENT You can adjust the crossing frequency from 50 to 150Hz. Only frequencies until this crossing will be play by your subwoofer, all frequencies after this crossing frequency will be play by the four satellites and the center speaker. Shémas A et B LOW LEVEL INPUT When using a two-channels amplifier with pre-out line outputs, the MAV-501 must be connected through RCA stereo inputs “LOW LEVEL INPUT“ (Left L and Right R). When using a home cinema receiver with sub output, the MAV-501 must be connected through one of the RCA LOW LEVEL INPUTS (Left or right, doesn’t matter).
