If the control knobs become difficult to turn, please contact your local Service Force Centre. Electric oven The oven has removable side racks for the shelves with four rungs on each side. Oven functions For all oven functions, the oven indicator light comes on when the oven is heating and goes out when the set temperature is reached (goes on and off as the thermostat switches in and out). To choose an oven function, turn the function control clockwise to the symbol for the desired function. Oven light The oven light comes on automatically for all settings. You can also have just the light on without any of the other functions being turned on. Top/bottom heat Using both top and bottom elements. Top element Heat comes from the top of the oven. Bottom element Heat comes from the bottom to heat the oven. 10 Practical use Never place aluminum foil, baking trays or oven dishes directly on the bottom of the oven. Blocking heat from the bottom of the oven can damage the enamel through overheating. The oven gets hot when in use: CHILDREN NEARBY MUST BE SUPERVISED. The baking tray may warp temporarily due to temperature fluctuations, or if the food, (pizza, etc. ) is unevenly distributed on its surface. Bottom element The heat comes from the bottom of the oven only. This position of the oven function knob is recommended for finishing cooked dishes. Preheat the oven the oven function knob on position 2. for about 10 min. Top element It is a radiant cooking. The heat comes from the top of the oven only. This position of the oven function knob is suitable for finishing cooked dishes, e. g. lasagna, shepherds pie, cauliflower cheese etc. It is not necessary to preheat the oven. Turn the oven function knob on position . To turn off the oven turn the knob clockwise to position off "0". Oven cooking (cooking table) The data in the chart bellow are informative. Only experience will enable you to determine the correct setting for your personal requirements. Observation: For preheating use the baking temperature indicated in the table, until the thermostat will switch off.
