Children and vulnerable people safety · This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. [. . . ] Within 7 seconds after the door opened, push the Control lever to Action Freeze position and hold it there for 10 seconds. A couple of times during these 10 seconds the Action Freeze function is activated and cancelled (3 beeps and yellow indicator turns on/off) When the adjustment Control lever has been pressed in 10 seconds, the temperature is changed and confirmed by a combination of long and short beep. · 1 short beep + 1 long beep Warmest storage temperature. · 1 short beep + 2 long beep Factory setting (medium). · 1 short beep + 3 long beep Coldest storage temperature. electrolux 5 Repeat the whole procedure from closed door until the desired setting is achieved. Hints for storage of frozen food To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should: · make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer; · be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the foodstore to the freezer in the shortest possible time; · not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary. · Once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen. electrolux 7 · Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacturer.
