Safety and general information • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • This exhaust hood may only be connected to a grounded socket outlet installed according to regulations, or directly by a professional electrician. [. . . ] Now screw the two cable suspensions together with the cable retainers onto the hanger bolts. In doing so the steel cable may twist, however it will unstring again during workstep 15. Now turn the three screws you had unscrewed before back into the hood body. By exerting pressure on the cable tensioner the cable suspension is released and the length of the steel cable can be varied. Using a water level the hood can be leveled out. Connect power cord of hood to supply line on site. Cover up hood after mounting so that no dirt particles can fall on the top. Do not uncover the device until the kitchen is completely erected and furnished and the final cleaning has been done. Before putting in operation • • • • • Ensure that the device is disconnected from the mains power supply respectively that the main switch is switched off. Remove protective cardboard from UV-C lamp (14) Insert the stainless steel filter 586 x 324 mm (15) into the hood body (1) Close grease collecting pan (12) Switch on main switch (17) on top of the device (LED mains indicator is lit up green) The appliance is now ready for operation! Operation 7-rocker control Page 6 Rocker 1 = Rocker 2 = Rocker 3-5 = Pushbutton 6 = Pushbutton 7 = LED mains (green) LED fan (red) To switch the right and the left halogen lamp on and off To switch both halogen lamps in the front and both halogen lamps in the beck on and off To switch the different power levels Power 1 = low step Power 2 = medium step Power 3 = high step After-running 1 = 30 minutes After-running 2 = 60 minutes = = Device is ready for operation Motor is running LED (yellow) = Disinfection lamp and ionizer are in operation (lit up all the time while the motor is running respectively only when the motor is running) Disinfection lamp (14) and ionizer start operating automatically when the motor is switched on. They cannot and do not need to be switched on and off separately. After running: Please hold the after running rocker depressed for at least 2 seconds in order to be able to assure the desired after running time. 6. Exchanging halogen reflector lamps (13) Pull out defect halogen lamps (13) and press new lamps into the socket!Do not pry out defect halogen lamps using metal parts (e. g. screwdriver or knife) since thereby the hood body could be damaged. 7. Taking out metal filters with Ionizer sheet (7) Before taking out metal filters, it is imperative to disconnect the device form the mains power supply by turning off main switch (17)!When removing the upper filter (7) the following must be regarded: To also enable cleaning of the ionizer sheet, it is necessary to detach the supply cable from each filter when removing the filters. To do so just pull cable off (see photographs below). Supply cable is detached from the ionizer sheet View after taking out metal filter Page 7 !!Please make sure that the snap locks are pointing towards the center of the hood when reinserting metal filters !!Cleaning – care – filters Cleaning the outside of the stainless steel exhaust hood: A care lotion is enclosed with each device for cleaning and care. Moisten a soft cloth with care lotion and apply it to the surface using slight pressure, let dry, and polish afterwards in brush direction. [. . . ] If directly under the exhaust hood a temperature between 69 ° and 71 ° is reached, a siren sounds C C automatically and the power supply to the device is interrupted. 30 ° – 35 ° C C the siren automatically goes of again. Information regarding the ionizer: The ionizer freshens the air.
