The marking indicates the dosing levels: 20 = approximately 20 ml of detergent 30 = approximately 30 ml of detergent Special advice When using combination products, the rinse-aid and salt indicators are no longer useful. It may be helpful therefore to switch the rinse aid off - please note that only some dishwashers have this facility - and select the lowest possible setting for water hardness. If you decide to turn back to the use of the standard detergent system we advise that you: q Refill both the salt container and rinse aid dispenser. Switch the water hardness setting to the highest possible position and run a normal washing programme without a load. Readjust the water hardness setting again according to the hardness of the water in your area. DE19 DE22 q 3. All programmes with prewash need a little amount of detergent (5 g) to be added in the adjacent chamber (3). q 4. Close the lid and press until it locks in place. Fill with detergent (Detergent dispenser type B) 1. If the lid is closed: open the dispenser by pulling the catch (D). From the moment that the washing programme has been set, the delay start will begin with the countdown. The countdown will decrease with step of 3 hours. During the countdown, the indicator light of the selected programme and the indicator light of the number of hours to the start of the programme will remain illuminated. Once the delay start has elapsed the programme will start automatically, the indicator lights for delay start turn off and the indicator light of the phase underway illuminates. Cancelling the "delay start" It is possible to cancel a countdown in progress or before it starts, simply pressing the delay start push button until the indicator lights corresponding to the delay start hours are off. In this case the selected washing programme will start automatically after 6 seconds. 5. Setting and starting the programme Press the push button corresponding to the required programme (see "Washing programmes" chart). The indicator light corresponding to the programme illuminates and the phase indicator lights foreseen for that programme start flashing. It is possible to change the programme selection simply pressing the push button of another programme within 6 seconds. Once the programme has started the phase indicator lights will turn off except for the phase under way. 8. End of the washing programme The dishwasher will automatically stop and the end of programme phase indicator light will illuminate. The indicator light of the programme just ended will remain on. If the door does not close correctly, loosen or tighten the adjustable feet until the machine is perfectly level. 820 16 Water outlet hose connection The end of the drain hose can be connected in the following ways: 1.
