For this reason some detergent tablets cannot dissolve and develop their full cleaning power during short programmes. Therefore please use long programmes when using detergent tablets, to ensure the complete removal of detergent residuals. Do not place the tablets in the tub or in the cutlery basket as this will result in poorer wash results. The tablets should be placed in the detergent dispenser. Concentrated detergent Based on their chemical composition, dishwasher detergents can be split into two basic types: - conventional, alkaline detergents with caustic components. - low alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes. The use of 50°C washing programmes in conjunction with concentrated detergents reduces pollution and is good for your dishes; these wash programmes are specially matched to the dirt-dissolving properties of the enzymes in the concentrated detergent. Press the On/Off button The indicator lights of the programme selection buttons illuminate. 5. Setting and starting the programme To select a programme, press the button of the programme you wish to select (see "Washing programmes" chart). The corresponding indicator light remains illuminated while the other programme buttons indicator lights turn off. In the digital display will appear, flashing, the running time (in minutes) of the programme that has been set. The programme in progress indicator light illuminates. After about 3 seconds from the last pressure of a button the programme starts automatically. In the digital display the running time of the programme is no longer flashing and the programme in progress indicator light remains illuminate. Setting and starting the programme with the delay start The setting of the delay start occurs before selecting the programme Press the delay start button until the flashing number of the hours for the delay start will appear in the digital display (from 1h to 19h). Select a washing programme (see "Washing programmes" chart).
