[. . . ] Entramos en el ADMINISTRADOR DE DISPOSITIVOS ( inicio configuración panel de control sistema hardware administrador de dispositivos) 3. Habrá una línea con una interrogación amarilla llamada OTROS DISPOSITIVOS y dentro de ella encontraremos un dispositivo llamado USB DEBICE.
4. Seleccionamos con un clic dicho dispositivos y pulsamos el botón derecho del ratón seleccionando la opción del menú ACTUALIZAR CONTROLADOR.

5. Nos aparecerá un menú llamado ASISTENTE PARA ACTUALIZAR NUEVO HARDWARE, y seleccionaremos INSTALAR DESDE UNA LISTA O UNA UBICACIÓN (segunda opción) y pulsamos SIGUIENTE:

6. Para dar por finalizada la instalación pulsaremos el botón FINALIZAR

12. El sistema nos pedirá reiniciar el equipo y pulsaremos el botón SI
13. Después de reiniciar miraremos nuevamente en el ADMINISTRADOR DE DISPOSITIVOS y observaremos que la línea OTROS DISPOSITIVOS ha desaparecido y que tenemos una nueva que se llama MODEM, donde tendremos nuestro módem correctamente detectado.

Con todos los pasos que hemos realizado anteriormente, tenemos configurado e instalado nuestro módem USB externo y todo lo necesario para podernos conectar a internet. Ahora solo nos queda configurar nuestra conexión a internet con el proveedor de servicio que deseemos.
