Manual abstract: user guide AIRTRONICS 99152

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] When programmed through the MT-4 2. 4GHz FHSS-4T transmitter's Telemetry menu, the RPM Sensor can provide direct RPM readings or Speed readings in either MPH or KM/H to give you real-time feedback that is displayed on your MT-4 2. 4GHz FHSS-4T transmitter's Telemetry screen. This allows you to monitor and keep track of your model's speed while you're driving. [. . . ] A circular piece is much less likely to pull up after prolonged use. IMPORTANT: The RPM Sensor should be securely mounted. When routing the sensor wire inside your model, be careful that it cannot come into contact with any moving parts or that it cannot be damaged in the event of a crash. When installed, it's important that the Sensor Pickup face the spur gear, flywheel or other moving part. The Black or White reflective decal should be positioned so that the reflective decal passes in front of the Sensor Pickup when the spur gear or flywheel is rotated. It's important that the reflective decal you apply contrasts with the part it's applied to and the Sensor Pickup should be approximately 1mm away from the reflective decal. To measure speed, mount the RPM Sensor to read from the spur gear. To measure engine RPM, mount the RPM sensor to read from the flywheel. RPM Sensor Bind LED When the Sensor Pickup is receiving input, the Bind LED on the receiver will turn Green. For example, when you rotate the spur gear, the Bind LED will flash Green each time the reflective decal on the spur gear passes in front of the Sensor Pickup. This feedback is used to calibrate the RPM Sensor to display the speed of your model in either MPH or KM/H. For more information, see the Calibrating the RPM Sensor section below. [. . . ] Adjusting the 10 Count Distance value will change the Maximum Speed value you have programmed. After calibration, you should go back and reset the Maximum Speed value to the desired setting. [. . . ]
