The selection switch for the message indicator switch should be set manually to appropriate position in order to work with the installed PBX. The Speakerphone led will be off. 4. INCOMING CALL The ringer volume can be adjusted with the slide switch at the side of the cabinet. Three settings are provided (Hi, Mid, Lo). Ringer pitch is defined during customization. 4. 1. Handset mode: Pick up handset, and talk to the caller. Press + or ­ to adjust receive volume. To switch to handsfree mode, press the the Speakerphone indicator button and return the handset to cradle. Hang up to finish call. 4. 2. Handsfree mode: Press the Speakerphone indicator button ton and talk to the caller. Press + or ­ to adjust receive volume. To switch to handset mode, just pick up the handset. Press the Speakerphone indicator button again to finish call. 5. HOLD A call can be placed on hold any time during conversation.
