A wide setting will boost a wide range of frequencies above and below the centre frequency. BASS TREBLE normal mode BASS Press and hold Rotary encoder (MODE/LOUD) (CDE-9845RX) or MODE/LOUD (CDE-9843RX/CDE9841R) for at least 2 seconds to activate or deactivate the loudness mode. The display shows "LOUD ON" when the loudness mode is activated. CDE-9843RX/CDE-9841R: Press MODE/LOUD to select the Treble Control mode.
