If the installed mounting sleeve is loose in the dashboard, the pressure plates may be bent slightly to remedy the problem. How to use a Seal If A is used for installation: Affix the seal so that mounting holes B and C are covered. If B is used for installation: Affix the seal so that mounting holes A and C are covered. If C is used for installation: Affix the seal so that the mounting holes A and B are covered. *2 If A is used, the supplied face plate may be mounted. If B is used, the face plate must be modified before installing it. to modify the face plate , consult your Alpine dealer. If C is used, the face plate cannot be mounted. Reinforce the head unit with the metal mounting strap (not supplied). Secure the ground lead of the unit to a clean metal spot using a screw (*1) already attached to the vehicle's chassis.
