[. . . ] Attempting to access this screen while driving will display the warning-CAN'T OPERATE WHILE DRIVING. · Use this function when the DAB Receiver Box is connected. Setting for Automatic Change from DAB to RDS When the DAB reception is poor, you can set this selection ON to automatically change to the RDS station (a station that can be received) within the same broadcasting station until good reception is achieved. You can switch this for voice only (except Service label/ Dynamic label display). The display and operation remain as for DAB. Setting item: AUTO SW FROM DAB TO RDS Setting content: OFF / ON The following steps 1 to 5 are common operations to each "Setting item" of SYSTEM Setup. Switching the Display Language of PTY (Programme Type) You can select one of the patterns of the display languages. When the optional DAB Receiver Box is connected, the setting is mutually affected for both equipment. PROC TYPE Switching the incoming calls of the telephone This operation can be carried out only when a cellular phone and MobileHub (CXA-B200NK) is connected. Setting item: PHONE RECEIVE Setting content: AUTO / MANUAL *1 The setting is effective when the external expansion box (VPES431) is connected. *2 Displayed when the expansion box is set to ON. · The incoming call can be switched to Automatic Calling or Manual Calling. 5 Touch [RETURN] to return to the previous screen. Touch [MAIN CONT. ] to return to the main source screen that was displayed before the setup operation was started. Playing MP3/WMA Data When using discs containing both audio data and MP3/WMA data. Setting item: PLAY MODE Setting content: CD / MP3 CD: Plays only the audio data on discs containing both audio data and MP3/WMA data. MP3: Plays only the MP3/WMA files on discs containing both audio data and MP3/WMA data. · Immediately after inputting titles or changing the settings of System Mode (While the system is inputting the titles or data automatically) do not turn the ignition key (engine key) to OFF. Otherwise, a title may not be written, or the settings may not be changed. Setting the External Device Interrupt Mode If an Alpine Ai-NET Interrupt Box (NVE-K200) is connected to the IVA-D300R/IVA-D300RB, an Auxiliary Source will be allowed to interrupt the current audio source. For example, you can listen to the voice guidance of your navigation system when it occurs even while you are playing a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD player will be automatically muted during voice guidance. For further details, please refer to the manual for NVE-K200. Setting item: IN INT. MUTE Setting content: OFF / ON OFF: The volume level can be adjusted in Interrupt mode. The icon that is set in "Setting the Interrupt Icon Display" is displayed. · Remove the disc from this unit before setting. · When an MP3-compatible CD changer is used, this setting cannot be applied. · The auxiliary device being connected must have an Interrupt wire with a negative trigger for this function to operate automatically. Otherwise, a separate switch needs to be added to switch it manually. 32-EN Setting the Interrupt Icon Display The unit can display the icon of an external device, such as a telephone, whenever a phone call comes in to tell you there is a phone call. Setting item: IN INT. ICON Setting content: INT / TEL INT: The INT icon appears on the display. TEL: When the external device (telephone) sends the interrupt signal, the telephone icon appears on the display. Setting the VISUALIZER Mode Display Select this display when displaying the source names of VISUALIZER on the VISUAL selection screen. Note that this setting is enabled only when the optional expansion box (VPE-S431) is connected. Setting item: VISUALIZER Setting contents: OFF / ON OFF: "VISUALIZER" and source names are not displayed on the VISUAL selection screen. ON: "VISUALIZER" and source names are displayed on the VISUAL selection screen. · TEL icon on this setting is not related to TEL Link Operation (pages 55 to 57). Setting the AUX Mode Setting item: AUX IN-1, 2, 3 Setting content: OFF / ON OFF: AUX source is not displayed.
