[. . . ] Be sure to close the display panel after inserting MDs to protect the display panel and prevent dust/dirt from getting into the unit. To remove the MDs, first open the display panel, then press the Eject ( ) button with the compartment number (1 through 3) that contains the MD you wish to remove. Only one MD should be inserted into one MD compartment. Be sure to check that the compartment number indicator for the compartment is not illuminating, then insert an MD into the compartment. Attempting to insert two or more MDs into one compartment may cause damage to the unit. ⷠClean the MD cartridges before inserting. ⷠDo not play an MD with two or more labels attached, or with its label peeling off. The compartment number indicators for the compartments loaded with MDs will light up. The changer starts playing from the first track on the MD. Press the :/J (Play/Pause) button during MD play to place the changer in the Pause mode. For the compartment loaded with an MD, lights up. the indicator · When the MD is being played or in the preparing process for play, the indicator lights up. ⷠDo not use an MD with its label peeling off or covering over the Shutter (window). ⷠDo not use an MD with two or more labels attached. ⷠDo not insert an MD when the power is OFF. Be sure to insert only one MD into each MD compartment. Press one of the MD compartment number buttons (1 through 3) that has the desired MD. the indicator for the selected MD compartment number will be displayed. Momentarily press the g button once to return to the beginning of the current track. If you wish to access a track further back, repeatedly press until you reach the desired track. Press the f button once to advance to the beginning of the next track. If you wish to access a track ahead, press repeatedly until the desired track is reached. [. . . ] Turn the ignition key to the ACC or ON position. ­ Turn the ignition key to the ACC or ON position and press the POWER button on your head unit. ­ Press the Reset button with a ballpoint pen or other pointed article. Volume level on the head unit is set at the minimum position. [. . . ]
