GENERAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Altec Lansing's 4048A digital processor is a professional matrix solution for your permanent audio system install needs. The 4048A features four (4) balanced line-level inputs and eight (8) balanced line-level outputs. F, Non-Condensing (4 49C) * 0dBu = 0. 775V rms
ARCHITECT'S AND ENGINEER'S SPECIFICATIONS
The digital processor shall have four inputs that can be routed to any or all eight outputs. Each input shall include mute on/off, gain adjustment from +12dB to -40dB and 8 filter stages selectable for high/low shelving, parametric or all-pass type filters. All inputs shall be electronically balanced with Euroblock connectors. Input LED indicators on the front panel shall show signal present, 0dB level, +20dB clip and mute. Any input or combination of inputs shall be assignable to any output or combination of outputs. Each output shall include high/low pass crossover, 6 filter stages selectable for high/low shelving, parametric or all-pass type filters, a delay stage (682ms max), gain adjustment from +12dB to -40dB with ability to phase invert, a full-function compressor/limiter and mute. All outputs shall be active servo balanced with Euroblock connectors and maximum output level shall be +20dBu. Output LED indicators on the front panel shall show signal present, limiter threshold, +20dB clip and mute. Frequency response of the 4048A shall be 20Hz to 20kHz, +0. 25dB with dynamic range greater than 110dB (20Hz 20kHz, unweighted) and SMPTE IM or THD shall be less than 0. 01% at 1kHz, +20dBu. Complete programming of the 4048A shall be from the front or back panel accessible RS-232 serial port using Altec Lansing's Maestro software.
