[. . . ] Lighting The Lighting option lets you adjust the camera settings for different lighting conditions: · Normal (default). When the light is slightly dimmer, the lens lets in more light to compensate for lack of light. Left option key -- Capture picture. Right option key -- Back to previous state. Picture Quality The Picture Quality option lets you choose the sharpness the picture will have after it is captured. The values are: · Normal -- default resolution · Fine -- higher resolution When you receive your phone, Normal is the default. You can choose a new default for this option. See "Customizing the Camera" on page 73. Pictures taken with this option set to Fine use more memory space. Managing Memory While you are taking pictures, the percentage of free memory appears on the screen. 72 Customizing the Camera To view your used memory, free memory, and memory capacity: 1 Access the camera. Tip: This option is available from many context-sensitive menus when you are using the camera. · Default Quality -- sets the default value for the Picture Quality option. To access the Camera Setup menu: 1 Access the camera. Tip: This option is available from many context-sensitive menus when you are using the camera. Customizing the Camera The following allows you to "remember" settings from use to use: · Ask for Name -- If you set this option to On, you are prompted to enter a name for each picture before you save it. · Circuit Data -- the number you use if you want to use your phone to transfer circuit data. See "Using Your Phone as a Modem" on page 46. You receive this number from your service provider. Note: If you request equipment-related transactions on your account, your service provider may require you to provide specific information about your phone. By pressing m anytime while in My Info, a submenu will appear that includes your phone's service status, unit information, and phone identification numbers including IMEI, SIM ID, and Serial Number (SN). Please be prepared to supply the representative with this information when requesting these types of transactions. Editing My Info To edit My Info to enter or change the text that appears in My Name: 1 From the main menu, select My Info. 3 Select Name. 75 My Info 4 Enter the name you want to appear. See "Entering Text" on page 60. You can also edit the information in Line 1, Line 2, and Ckt, but your changes are only temporary. The next time your phone registers on the network, your actual phone numbers and circuit data number appear again in My Info.
