The AXlink/RS-232 connector, on the back of the AXB-IRS4, can be connected to a PC system using a DB-9 connector cable. Connector pins 2, 3, and 5 are used for data and ground. The cables supplied with the AXBIRS4 are designed to accommodate the IR devices in your system. IR cables have a two-pin connector on one end that plugs into the AXB-IRS4, and the other end has a device-specific interface adapter such as an IR emitter.
