The stand-alone configuration uses an optional AMX Enhanced Master card (AXC-EM) and up to three optional AXC control cards. The add-on configuration uses up to three optional AXC cards and is connected via the AXlink data/power bus along with control panels and AXB AXlink controllers. The MINI CardFrame features a new backplane design incorporating all card server functions, eliminating the need for a dedicated card slot. The CardFrame can be easily installed into a rack, shelf, or at a remote site to avoid costly cable runs.
