The tool postprocesses event-based data generated by the Ericsson infrastructure, analyzing and organizing it for use in troubleshooting, monitoring, and verifyingnetworkfunctionality. [. . . ] The ClientssendqueriesdowntotheServer, collecttheresults, and depictthemvisually. UsersinstalltheClientsoftwarelocallyontheirown machineswithnoneedforanyotherremoteaccesssoftware. TheseparationofthedataintoPrimary and Analysis Databasesisa crucialpartofTEMSVisualizationEnterprise. Thisseparationofdataallows users to perform troubleshooting and optimization tasks based on data collectedoverlongtimeperiods, whichgivesmoreconfidencetodecision making. AfterrecordingshavebeensetupintheOSS-RC, thedataflowthrough theTEMSVisualizationEnterprisesystemcanbeimmediate and completely automatic. Congestioncanpushtraffictonon-optimalcells, installationproblemscan causeswappedfeedersorovershootingcells, real-lifecoveragecandiffer frompredictions, andequipmentcanfail. TheCapacityDiagnosticsandRF Diagnosticsfeatureshighlightcellssufferingfromthesebasicissuesand trytoidentifytherootcauses. Capacity Diagnostics allow cells with resource issues to be quickly identified. Peak usage statistics for a number of key resource types are calculated. Cellswithissuescanthenbeinvestigatedindetailwithcharts showing, inhighresolution, theusageofresourcessuchaschannelelements , power, andactiveHSusers. RF Diagnosticsautomaticallyhighlightcellsinthenetworksuffering from RF issues. Through the analysis of Measurement Reports, cells are identifiedwhicharesufferingfromissuessuchasoutofcoverage, highDL interference, highULinterference, orUL/DLimbalance. Changescanbemade andsavedtoaBulkCMformatfileforimportintotheOSS-RC. Coverage Area Optimizationallowsovershootingcellstobequickly identifiedanddown-tiltsadjusted. Analgorithmcalculatesanovershooting distance for each cell. During processing, statistics are calculated on the numberofovershootingcallsandthenumberofcallsestablishedinpoor quality. Detailedinvestigationofthecallsestablishedineachdistanceband andthequalityofthosecallscanalsobeperformedinchartsandonthe map. Detailed Investigations Exception AnalysissummarizesalltheGPEHmessagesrecordedfor the selected scope and all the TEMS Visualization events generated.
