Front Panel Audio Header (9-pin HD_AUDIO1) (see p. 14, No. A front panel module mainly consists of power switch, reset switch, power LED, hard drive activity LED, speaker and etc. When connecting your chassis front panel module to this header, make sure the wire assignments and the pin assign-ments are matched correctly. Chassis Speaker Header (4-pin SPEAKER 1) (see p. 14, No. 22) Please connect the chassis speaker to this header. Power LED Header (3-pin PLED1) (see p. 14, No. 18) Please connect the chassis power LED to this header to indicate system power status. The LED is on when the system is operating. The LED is off in S4 state or S5 state (power off). Chassis and Power Fan Connectors (4-pin CHA_FAN1) (see p. 14, No. 23) FAN_SPEED (3-pin CHA_FAN2) +12V GND (see p. 14, No. 24) FAN_SPEED +12V GND Please connect the fan cables to the fan connectors and match the black wire to the ground pin. CHA_FAN1, CHA_FAN2 and CHA_FAN3 supports Fan Control. (3-pin PWR_FAN1) (see p. 14, No. 9) FAN_SPEED +12V GND CPU Fan Connectors FAN_SPEED_CONTROL (4-pin CPU_FAN1) FAN_SPEED +12V (see p. 14, No. 3) GND 4 3 2 1 Please connect the CPU fan cable to the connector and match the black wire to the ground pin. 42 Though this motherboard provides 4-Pin CPU fan (Quiet Fan) support, the 3-Pin CPU fan still can work successfully even without the fan speed control function.
