Main menu items 4. 2. 5 Sub-menu items A solid triangle before each item on any menu screen means that the iteam has a sub-menu. To display the sub-menu, select the item and press <Enter>. 4. 2. 6 Configuration fields These fields show the values for the menu items. If an item is userconfigurable, you can change the value of the field opposite the item. You cannot select an item that is not user-configurable. A configurable field is enclosed in brackets, and is highlighted when selected. To change the value of a field, select it then press <Enter> to display a list of options. Refer to "4. 2. 7 Pop-up window. These items show N/A if no IDE device is installed in the system. Type [Auto] Selects the type of IDE drive. Setting to [Auto] allows automatic selection of the appropriate IDE device type. Select [CDROM] if you are specifically configuring a CD-ROM drive. Select [ARMD] (ATAPI Removable Media Device) if your device is either a ZIP, LS-120, or MO drive. [. . . ] Connect an auxiliary power source from the power supply to the graphics card. 6-2 C h a p t e r 6 : A T I® M V P t e c h n o l o g y s u p p o r t 6. 2. 2 Installing CrossFireTM graphics cards Before ins talling a CrossFireTM system, refer to the user guide that came with the ATI CrossFireTM Edition graphics card. To install the graphics cards: 1. Remove the MVP Switch Card if one is installed. Prepare one CrossFireTM Edition graphics card, which will serve as the Master graphics card, and one CrossFireTM-ready graphics card, which will serve as the Slave graphics card.
