Follow the screen instructions to complete the update process. 5-10 Chapter 5: BIOS setup 5. 2 BIOS setup program This motherboard supports a programmable firmware chip that you can update using the provided utility described in section "5. 1 Managing and updating your BIOS. " Use the BIOS Setup program when you are installing a motherboard, reconfiguring your system, or prompted to "Run Setup". If an item is userconfigurable, you can change the value of the field opposite the item. You cannot select an item that is not user-configurable. A configurable field is enclosed in brackets, and is highlighted when selected. To change the value of a field, select it then press <Enter> to display a list of options.
