You can load the current BIOS file when the BIOS file gets corrupted during the flashing process. Make sure that the floppy disk has enough disk space to save the file. To save the current BIOS file using the AwardBIOS Flash Utility: 1. Follow steps 1 to 6 of the previous section. Press <Y> when the utility prompts you to save the current BIOS file. Restart the system after the utility completes the updating process. The recovered BIOS may not be the latest BIOS version for this motherboard. The EZ Flash utility is built-in the BIOS chip so it is accessible by pressing <Alt> + <F2> during the Power-On Self-Test (POST). Visit the ASUS website (www. asus. com) to download the latest BIOS file for the motherboard. Save the BIOS file to a floppy disk, then restart the system. Press <Alt> + <F2> during POST to display the following. Insert Disk then press Enter or ESC to continue POST 4.
