You have the option of purchasing models with or without the DIMM sockets, MediaBus extension, or the L2 cache expansion slot. Ignore the features that are not relevant to your model. You have the option of choosing 256KB or 512KB L2 cache onboard. [. . . ] This gives you a backup copy of the original motherboard BIOS in case you need to reinstall it. Create a bootable system floppy diskette by typing [FORMAT A:/S] from the DOS environment without creating "AUTOEXEC. BAT" and "CONFIG. SYS" files, then save the PFLASH.
