What you see on your screen may not be exactly the same as shown. 4. Insert the disk that contains the new BIOS file into the floppy drive. At the prompt, "Please Enter File Name for NEW BIOS: _", type in the BIOS file name that you downloaded from the ASUS website, then press <Enter>. EZ Flash will automatically access drive A to look for the file name that you typed. When found, the following message appears on screen. [BIOS Information in File] BIOS Version: P8P67 EVO Boot Block WARNING!Download an updated ASUS BIOS file from the Internet (WWW or FTP) (see ASUS CONTACT INFORMATION on page x for details) and save to the boot floppy disk you created earlier. At the "A:\" prompt, type AFLASH and then press <Enter>. At the Main Menu, type 2 then press <Enter>. The Update BIOS Including Boot Block and ESCD screen appears. Type the filename of your new BIOS and the path, for example, A:\XXX-XX. XXX, then press <Enter>. To cancel this operation, press <Enter>. 6. When prompted to confirm the BIOS update, press Y to start the update. ASUS P8P67 EVO motherboard user guide 4-5 7. The utility starts to program the new BIOS information into the Flash ROM. The boot block is updated automatically only when necessary. This minimizes the possibility of boot problems in case of update failures.
