[. . . ] When you remove any chassis component, the sensor triggers and sends a high-level signal to these leads to record a chassis intrusion event. The default setting is short CASEOPEN and GND pin by jumper cap to disable the function. These leads are for the locator LED1 and LED2 on the front panel. Connect the Locator LED cables to these 2-pin connector. The LEDs will light up when the Locator button is pressed. These leads are for the locator button on the front panel. This button queries the state of the system locator. System panel connector (20-pin PANEL1) This connector supports several chassis-mounted functions. · This 3-pin connector is for the system power LED. Connect the chassis power LED cable to this connector. The system power LED lights up when you turn on the system power, and blinks when the system is in sleep mode. Save the BIOS file to a bootable USB flash disk drive. Copy the BUPDATER utility (BUPDATER. exe) from the ASUS support website at support. asus. com to the bootable USB flash disk drive you created earlier. Boot the system in DOS mode, then at the prompt, type: BUPDATER /i[filename]. ROM where [filename] is the latest or the original BIOS file on the bootable USB flash disk drive, then press <Enter>. You can update a corrupted BIOS file using a USB flash drive that contains the updated BIOS file. Prepare a USB flash drive containing the updated motherboard BIOS before using this utility. RecoveringtheBIOSfromaUSBflashdrive To recover the BIOS from a USB flash drive: 1. Remove any floppy disk from the floppy disk drive and turn the system on. Insert the USB flash drive with the original or updated BIOS file to one USB port on the system. The utility will automatically recover the BIOS. It resets the system when the BIOS recovery finished. DO NOT shut down or reset the system while recovering the BIOS!Doing so would cause system boot failure!The recovered BIOS may not be the latest BIOS version for this motherboard.
