[. . . ] System Power LED (KEYLOCK, 3 pins) This 3-pin connector connects the system power LED, which lights when the system is powered on and blinks when it is in sleep mode. Keyboard Lock Switch Lead (KEYLOCK, 2 pins) This 2-pin connector connects to the case-mounted key switch to allow keyboard locking. Speaker Connector (SPEAKER, 4 pins) This 4-pin connector connects to the case-mounted speaker. INSTALLATION Connectors Power LED Speaker Connector R III. INSTALLATION Power Connection Procedures 1. After all connections are made, close the system case cover. Be sure that all switches are off (in some systems, marked with ). Connect the power supply cord into the power supply located on the back of your system case according to your system user's manual. Connect the power cord into a power outlet that is equipped with a surge protector. You may then turn on your devices in the following order: a. Save Current BIOS To File This option allows you to save a copy of the original motherboard BIOS in case you need to reinstall it. It is recommended that you save AFLASH. The Update BIOS Including Boot Block and ESCD screen appears. Type the filename of your new BIOS and the path, for example, A:\XX2I1002. AWD, and then press <Enter>. When prompted to confirm the BIOS update, press Y to start the update. The utility starts to program the new BIOS information into the flash ROM.
