Standard CMOS Setup This "Standard CMOS Setup" option allows you to record some basic system hardware configuration and set the system clock and error handling. If the motherboard is already installed in a working system, you will not need to select this option anymore. BIOS (Standard CMOS) 31 Auto detection of hard disks on bootup (New Feature) For each field: Primary Master, Primary Slave, Secondary Master, and Secondary Slave, you can select Auto under the TYPE and MODE fields. This will allow you to change your hard drives (with the power off) and then power on without having to reconfigure your hard drive type.
