Use a shockproof plug, mains voltage 230 V with residual current circuit breaker (FI switch 30 mA). Only use connection cables with sufficient diameters. Do not use a device where - the contactor can not be switched on and off. - the chain and motor brake does not work properly Damaged switches must be repaired or replaced immediately by the customer service. When switching on the chain saw must be supported and held safely. After finishing the sawing works release tension of saw chain as in case of cooling too high tensions would emerge in the saw chain. Put the chain saw with motor facing downward on an even face. + Hold the chain saw always firmly with both hands, left hand on the front handhold (4) and right hand on the rear handhold (17). 14 + Make sure that the wood can not turn when sawing. There is risk of injury by wood pieces carried away. + Initiate saw chain before getting in contact with the wood. + Only cut the sawing material with the lower edge. Cutting with the upper edge causes saw backstrokes. + Put on the chain saw as plane as possible. + Use the claw stopper (16) for fixing the chain saw on the wood. Use the claw stopper when sawing as lever. 16 + When sawing thicker perches or trunks set back the claw stopper (16) on a deeper point. For setting back release the claw stopper from the wood and place it again in a deeper position. [. . . ] 24 In case of harder pollution or resins put the chain for some hours in a container with chain cleaner. Afterwards wash up the chain with clear water.
