Introduction
The Australian Monitor Installation Series DI1 is a passive direct injection box that features a balanced XLR output,  a 6. 35 mm TRS through output,  3 stage pad offering up to 40dB of attenuation & a ground lift switch for hum elimination.  [. . . ] 3 Stage input Pad: This 3 stage switch allows 0dB,  20dB or 40dB of input attenuation so differing sources can accommodated. GND Lift Switch: When this switch is in "ground" position pin1 of both the input & the output are connected. When this switch is in "lift" position these grounds are separated. This switch is used to eliminate hum that may be present.  [. . . ] Balanced XLR Output: This balanced XLR output is for connection to a mixing console,  signal processor etc.
