[. . . ] 2) Cut out the rectangular template provided on page 3. 3) Position the template on the liner about an inch up from the bottom and an inch and a half out from the inner edge. Observe the webbing on the intercooler-side of the fender liner. You may want to adjust the position of the template to find the "sweet spot" relative to the webs, so as to avoid interference with the mounting screws. Cut the hole in the liner using a utility knife. It is usually better to make several lighter strokes to cut throught the thick plastic, rather than trying to cut all the way through in one pass. 6) Once the hole is cut, place the vent plate into the hole from the intercooler side of the liner.
