[. . . ] · WARNING: Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the Jogger. · WARNING: Do not leave child unattended. · Always use your wrist strap ­ Your Jogger can really roll, and the wrist strap gives you control if you should slip or fall down. [. . . ] Open the caliper by flipping the caliper lever toward the rear wheels. 2 Insert one of the front wheels into the fork tips by aligning the axle flats with the fork tip flats. 3 Tighten by turning the wheel lever while holding the opposite side. 4 Close the wheel lever making sure that it is facing toward the back of the Jogger. Caliper Lever 5 Close caliper by flipping the caliper lever toward the fork tips. Repeat these steps to install other wheel. Wheel Lever 2 Rear Wheels · To install, gently slide the wheel's rear axle into the hole in the axle end until you hear it click into place. · To remove, simply push in the spring lock while pulling out the wheel. 3 Brakes Hand Brake with Parking Button · To use the parking button feature, simply squeeze the brake handle and push the park brake button. JOGGER IS PACKAGED WITH THE HAND BRAKE ASSEMBLY LOOSE. TIGHTENING IS NECESSARY FOR SAFE OPERATION! Adjusting the Brake Parking Button Cylinder Ring Small Ring · Rotate hand brake assembly upward to a comfortable position then tighten bolt (clockwise) on the hand brake assembly with supplied allen wrench as shown. Rear Wheel Parking Brake · If you don't have good braking action, simply squeeze the brake handle five or six times. If the problem persists, loosen the brake's cylinder ring to adjust the small ring, and then move the small ring away from the handle to tighten the cable. (Please do not over tighten!) To lock the rings, tighten the cylinder ring against the handle while holding the small ring in place. · Simply push brake pedal down to engage brake and lift up to release. 4 Safety Harness Adjusting safety harness: 1 Loosen the shoulder straps from their plastic guides. 2 Slide the end of each strap through pair of seat loops closest to your child's shoulder. 3 Slide the end of the shoulder strap back into plastic guide. Please note: If you feel the straps are too tight, you may adjust their length by sliding the plastic guides toward the top of the seat. 4 Lock both sides of the strap mechanism into the center buckle. To adjust the center strap, move its plastic guide up or down. WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use safety harness! 5 Reclining Seat 1 Simply adjust seat straps to desired degree of recline. 2 Pull on strap when you want to return the seat to its upright position. 3 Rear flap serves as sun canopy when seat is in reclined position. 4 Jogger is packaged with seat support board and can be easily removed or inserted into the seat back if additional support is desired. Be sure to remove the board from the back of the seat before washing. 6 Folding ALWAYS BE SURE THE YELLOW SAFETY STRAP IS SECURELY SNAPPED ONTO THE FRAME BEFORE USING JOGGER! Yellow Safety Straps Must Be Released Before Folding Simple Lift & Fold 1 Retract sun canopies and unsnap the yellow safety straps from Jogger frame. 2 Stand in front of the Jogger with your body centered over one front wheel. Grasp both fold straps and firmly pull upwards to fold. 7 Seat NOTE: Some Joggers are shipped with the Canopy, Seat and Basket pre-assembled. Assembly instructions are given if any pre-assemble items are removed for cleaning or replacement. 1 Snap seat to frame. 2 Attach bottom part of seat to footplate with the Velcro. 3 Wrap bottom straps around frame, thread each strap through D-ring and secure. 4 Standing behind stroller, 8 5 Snap all center yellow safety straps to Jogger frame. 6 Snap safety strap to side frame. locate the center seat straps, and snap them to each other connecting all seats. 7 Thread folding straps through openings in each seat. 8 Attach folding strap to folding trigger and secure the triangle shaped fastener. ALWAYS BE SURE THE YELLOW SAFETY STRAP IS SECURELY SNAPPED ONTO THE FRAME BEFORE USING JOGGER! 9 Basket 1 Snap front basket straps to frame tube. Note: The rear of basket has the mesh material and the front doesn't. 2 Wrap rear basket straps around upright and snap back to itself. 10 Canopy You will need a friend to help attach the sun canopy and a phillips head screwdriver. Center Hole 1 Unsnap and lower the top section of seats to reveal the mounting holes for the sun canopy brackets. Note: Q-Double shown in photo above, the Q-Triple has two center bars. Mounting Holes 2 Thread both canopy brackets through the seat's center hole and secure to mounting holes on frame using a phillips head screwdriver. 3 At the top corners of the sun canopy there should be two Velcro straps, snap the canopy straps to the frame and Velcro it back to itself. 4 Now secure Velcro tabs of center of canopy around both center bar on Jogger frame. 11 In Motion Steering · Steering your Jogger is simple: it's balanced to turn with just a light touch on the handlebar. For tighter turns, push down on the handlebar and raise the front wheel to steer. Wrist Strap · Make sure wrist strap is around your wrist whenever your baby is in the Jogger. [. . . ] · Also, if you jog massive amounts of miles, your Jogger will benefit from a yearly visit to the bike shop for wheel alignment. Refer to the number on the tire wall for the optimum pressure for your tires. Storing · Sunshine can fade seat fabric and dry out tires, so storing your Jogger indoors will prolong its good looks.
