The instructions should be followed very carefully to avoid any risk of accident, personal injury or material damage. This symbol highlights hazards, which could lead to injury. [. . . ] Any technical interventions, as well as assembly and maintenance are to be made by a qualified customer service only. the electric multi pan is only intended for the preparation and heating up of food. Under no circumstances the electric multi pan should be used among other things for: warming up or boiling up liquids containing sugar, sweeteners, acids, leaches or alcohols; warming and heating up inflammable, noxious, easily volatilizing or similar liquids or substances or materials. Do not use the device for anything beyond or other than its intended use. The manufacturer and/or authorized parties do not accept any claims resulting from damage caused by using the device not according to its intended use. The operator is totally liable for any such damage. Please check the delivery upon completeness and transport damage immediately after receipt. In case of visible damage do not accept or accept the delivery with reservation only. Hidden damages should be reclaimed immediately after notice, as claims for damages can only be asserted within the effective period for complaints. Please do not throw away the covering carton of your device as it might be useful for storage purposes, when moving or, in case of damages, when the device must be sent back to a repair center. The outer and inner packing material should be removed completely from the device before installation. You must not position the device near open fireplaces, electric ovens/arc furnaces, furnaces/electric heaters or other heat sources. You must always keep a safety distance of 15 cm to any object, item or wall. The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the unit directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips. Position the device in such a way that the plug is easily accessible. Always be sure to mount the temperature control on the device before plugging the plug into the socket. In order to switch off the device set the temperature controller on "OFF" first and then pull the plug out of the socket. First set the temperature scale on OFF and plumb the temperature controller into the socket. In case the temperature controller is not plugged in appropriately abnormal heating can arise and lead to accidents and damage. Therefore the correct connection of the temperature controller must be ensured. After switching the device wait for 5-10 minutes until the control lamp flashes up so you can begin cooking. [. . . ] Therefore, you must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!Do not clean the device under running water, do not immerse in any liquid and protect connecting socket against ingress of water. Let the device cool off first before removing the temperature control as the temperature sensor of the temperature control might still be hot after use. O Put the thermostat in the OFF position, remove the plug from its socket and then remove the thermostat only after the unit cools. [. . . ]
