Automatic - Flash fires when conditions require extra lighting Always on - Flash fires every time you take a photo, regardless of lighting conditions. RedEye - Flash strobes to let the subject's eyes adjust to the flash, then fires again when the photo is taken. Always off - The flash never fires. Auto Metering automatically selects the best exposure for you, Multi Metering selects an exposure based on readings from multiple points in the subject area and Spot Metering selects an exposure based on a single reading taken from the center of your picture. Turn the camera on and make sure it is in Photo +/ mode. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to select the Metering option. Use the LEFT or RIGHT buttons to select an option from the list.
