Do not continue to use the child seat after an accident. Make no changes or other alterations to the child seat. Fixing clamp The fixing clamp (Fig. 2) must be used to secure the shoulder belt. This prevents the child pulling the loose belt out of the belt roller. Fix the fixing clamp to the shoulder belt at the side of the seat between the shoulder and the head support. Tighten the seat belt as firmly as possible, without causing the child discomfort. When the fixing clamp is used, the seat belt will always be available in the correct length We recommend: Allow plenty of time with the child before starting to use the child seat. The child needs to become familiar with the seat and seat belt. To encourage use of the seat, explain to the child that it is important for road safety.
