One is for use in ANSWER ONLY mode and one for use in Answer & Rec. mode. Both of these can be replaced with your own prerecorded message if you prefer. To pre-record an outgoing message you must first follow the procedure to set the answer mode After setting the answer mode you can choose between using a predefined outgoing message or using a personalised one that you have recorded. If you select Personalised you will then need to record a new message. To record a new outgoing message: 1 2 Follow steps 1 to 5 on page 29 è Display Shows Select mess >Predefined Press the â button to select Personalised and press the MENU/OK button è Display shows >Play message Press the MENU/OK button to play the existing message Press the â button and the MENU/OK button to record a new message è Display Shows > Record mess Speak clearly into the handset Press the MENU/OK button to end the recording.
