Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Always unplug the heater when not in use. When unplugging, be sure to pull by the plug and not the cord. DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater. DO NOT operate heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. [. . . ] TIP: Over time, dust may accumulate on the front grills. This can be removed by wiping the unit with a damp cloth. Always unplug unit and allow to cool prior to cleaning. NEVER use abrasive or flammable solvents to clean the unit. After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel. After Season Care: Store heater in a cool, dry location. Bionaire® recommends storing the unit in its original, or appropriately sized box. Every few weeks check the condition of the pre-filter. If the foam pre-filter has collected a noticeable amount of dust, remove it from the inlet of the grill and wash it in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry the pre-filter thoroughly before replacing it in the inlet of the grill. To take advantage of the 1TouchTM Thermostat continue to press the Mode/Off button until the desired temperature is set in either the HIGH or LOW setting. When the ambient temperature rises above the set temperature, the heater will stop. When the ambient temperature drops below the set temperature, the heater will turn on automatically. NOTE: When the 1TouchTM thermostat is set, either the HIGH (HI) or LOW (LO) power light, and the temperature light will remain lit during operation. (See Figure 1) NOTE: It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the preset temperature. To prevent the unit from cycling, you need to raise the thermostat setting. The 1TouchTM thermostat will remember the previous temperature setting after the unit has been turned off. However, if the unit is unplugged, the 1TouchTM thermostat will be reset and will no longer remember the previous temperature setting. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. if the plug does not fit fully in the outlet , reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Carefully remove your heater from the box.
