Empty the dirt container when the dirt reaches the "Full" line on the side. Check the inner and outer circular filters, and the pre-motor filter at least once a month and clean or replace as needed. Follow the instructions on the following pages to perform these simple maintenance steps. 3. To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn power switch OFF and disconnect plug from electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks. The post-motor filter assists in the filtration process to return clean air to the room. It is located behind the door on the front of the cleaner. When the filter becomes dirty, open the door, remove the filter and clean. The post-motor filter may be hand washed in warm water. Rinse well, then air dry thoroughly before replacing.
