Some radio stations use the RDS signal to transmit advertising or other information instead of their station name. You can deactivate the feature for displaying scrolling texts.
Press the MENU button 8. Keep pressing the button : until "HICUT" appears in the display.

You can use this unit to play standard CDs with a diameter of 5 inches. CD singles with a diameter of 3 inches and contoured CDs (shape CDs) are not suitable for playback in this unit. We accept no liability for any damage to the CD drive that may occur as a result of the use of unsuitable CDs.
Setting the display
When in radio mode, you have the option of continuously displaying the time or continuously displaying the station name or frequency.

Switching to CD mode
This unit is equipped with a multiband tuner. This means that the tuner can be configured to suit requirements that are specific to various countries. The tuner will only function optimally if it is configured for the country/region in which the unit is being operated. button 9.

Gently insert the CD with the printed side uppermost into the CD compartment until you feel some resistance. You must not hinder or assist the drive as it draws the CD in.
