[. . . ] The CMS 266 has two drive options,  either via the preamplifier output terminals or the loudspeaker output terminals of the car stereo equipment.  preamplifier output terminals are connected to cinch (RCA) jacks of the Woofer Box via a shielded audio line. When using the loudpeaker output terminals as drive option,  run the input leads 9 and : to the nearest loudspeaker cables (front or back) on the left and on the right,  separate them and connect to the input terminals.  the polarity of the connections ,  + or - ,  must be observed. Bridge output terminals (BTL),  can also be connected without an additional adaptor. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 : ; Input sensitivity Phase adjustment Crossover frequency Connection sockets Preamplifier input jacks + battery,  red - ground,  black ON/OFF control input,  yellow Loudspeaker input left Loudspeaker input right Fuse 20 A Turn on the system and select a music track from a CD or cassette that contains powerful bass. Turn up your stereo's volume to the required listening level. Now slowly turn up the Gain control 1 until you clearly hear an increase in the bass level.
