The Navigation system provides you with information designed to help you reach your chosen destination easily and safely. [. . . ] Use the up/down cursor button to select ENTER POSITION and confirm your selection by pressing CONFIRM. The next menu screen will appear in the display. After selecting DIRECT, use the cursor buttons in the same way as for entering the destination by selecting the appropriate characters from the alphanumeric selection field and pressing CONFIRM to activate them. Once you have entered the beginning letters, move the cursor to ENT and press CONFIRM. If the city or town and the street of your actual position is entered with a crossing, then you can set the position. MEMORY to access the destination memory and enter a destination stored there as your current position. Only those destinations which have been stored as crossings are available. The data on the CD-ROM is updated and expanded as necessary. To ensure that the system can operate properly you should always use the most recent CD-ROM. If you have any questions please contact your local service station. The navigation computer is mounted in the boot. Please refer to the instruction manual for your vehicle to find its exact position. To remove the CD-ROM, move the slide switch to the left. Do not move the slide switch to the right while the disc is coming out. Insert the new navigation CD-ROM with the label facing up carefully into the CD slot until it is automatically pulled into the CD-ROM player. Move the slide switch back to the right after the disc has been fed in completely.
