Setting a position marker You can save your current vehicle position at any time, even during an active navigation session. This feature is useful if you notice an interesting location during your journey and want to return to it at some other point in time. MENU ROUTE OPTION ROUTE LIST POSITION MARK TA ON SYMBOLS 2D Saving a position marker After you press the right knob/pushbutton ;, a selection menu opens. You are now given the option of assigning a name to the position marker or returning to the menu in which you set the position marker. If you select the NAME option and enter a name for the position marker, the name will be automatically stored in the destination memory. A speller will open for you to enter the short name. Enter a short name, keep the right knob/pushbutton ; pressed for longer than two seconds or select the symbol and press the right knob/pushbutton ;. The position marker is saved in the destination memory with the short name that you entered. The position marker is then saved together with the time in the POSITION MARK memory in the destination memory. Note: A maximum of five position markers (together with the time) can be saved in the POSITION MARK memory. The TA function is activated or deactivated. Activating / deactivating voice output You have the option of navigation with or without voice output. The voice output informs you of the distance to the decision points and provides you with audio driving recommendations. Press the right knob/pushbutton ; until the required ON or OFF option is highlighted. Press the ESC button 9 to close the navi menu. Activating / deactivating the last 10 destinations memory If the LAST 10 option is activated, the last 10 navigation destinations are stored automatically in memory.
