[. . . ] Insert the silver anodised aluminium threaded -bar covering tubes into the threaded bars on the upper part of the transparent acrylic board. Please note that the grey velts shouldn't be removed t o lay down the threaded-bar covering tubes on them. Besides the threaded -bar covering tubes can produce some resistance while inserted into them because the rubber ring spacer, because they must not move once the STIBBERT Tube mkII is properly installed. 6) Screw up the bolt shaped spring supports with faced up (bolt shape/smaller cylindrical shape) onto the head of the threaded bars and fit the conical springs onto them. They spring support should be screwed approximately at the same level of the head of the threaded bars. 7) Gently lay the black acrylic board where the CD player unit is fixed onto the pre-installed springs finding the perfect centring inside the holes of the board itself. 8) 9) Connect the Interconnect cables to your amplifier following the right channels (or the digital 75ohm cable having an external DAC). Place the STIBBERT Tube mkII on a level surface you have chosen for it. We recommend a wall shelf, as they are the most sturdy, and immune to footfall, but a well made equipment rack should give satisfactory results also. Once the table deck is placed on your chosen set-up location you are now ready to continue. 10) To finish this assembly operation level the black acrylic board to a perfect flat position and connect the AC Power chord supplied. Contents of Packaging - Construction Features 4 Stibbert Tube mkII Italian Prestige CD Player Positioning of the STIBBERT Tube mkII CD Player The STIBBERT Tube CD Player has been designed for use in Hi-Fi systems in sheltered locations. Operating Conditions Once the Stibbert Tube has been correctly assembled and positioned on a solid shelf plus all the interconnect and the AC cables are connected the CD Player is ready for use. On the STIBBERT TUBE front Panel there are replied the 6 basic function's buttons of the unit. Cause of it's Thermoionic Valve output stage the Stibbert Tube must turned ON 30 seconds before the amplifier where it is connected. For the same reason it must turned OFF 30 seconds after the amplifier where it is connected. The Stibbert Tube having a Thermoionic Valve output stage can't be quite as a Solid State one. NOTE: Never disassemble any part of the product for any reason whatsoever. The Stibbert Tube CD Player could be irreparably damaged and the guarantee would be invalidated. Two functions of the REPEAT mode sub-menu are not available in the standard Bluenote CD Player set up even though they can be partially accessible by the remote control. The REPEAT mode sub-menu is based on Five different levels: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) A-B Repeat REPEAT which is split in REPEAT ALL and REPEAT 1 TRACK RANDOM PLAY PROGRAM (not available on CD Players) SEARCH (not available on CD Players) To Access the REPEAT MENU the first button to always press on the REMOTE CONTROL is the BUTTON 12 control. Once the button is pressed the GUI letters must be shown on the fluorescent display. Just after the CD Player is been turned ON the first time you press of the remot e you will come in the A-B REPEAT line of the REPEAT sub-menu. A-B REPEAT After the BUTTON 12 must press ENTER the second time The third pressing of pressing that shows the GUI letters on the display if you want to access to the function A-B REPEAT you once, than another time to point up the point on the track where you want to start repeating the A-B REPEAT. Pressing so pointing up the A position, the display will show the typical curved arrow of repeating, the symbol of the repeat mode. [. . . ] Once on the display will appear GUI, press ENTER button twice · Check the remote control batteries work properly. · Be Sure between the remote control and CD Player receiver disply there is no t obstacles · Go closer to the unit.
