[. . . ] Important: The wires in the mains lead are colour coded in accordance with the following code: BLUE ­ NEUTRAL BROWN ­ LIVE As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of your appliance may not correspond with the coloured marking identifying terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: Connect the BLUE coloured wire to plug terminal marked with the letter "N" or coloured black. Connect the BROWN coloured wire to the plug terminal marked with the letter "L" or coloured red. In no circumstance must any of the wires be connected to the terminal marked with the letter "E", earth symbol "z", coloured green, or green & yellow. Activate the station search by pressing »DOWN 8« or »UP 9« until the frequency display changes to rapid run-through. ­ The search stops when a programme is found. Manual station search 1 To move the frequency forward in steps, briefly press »DOWN 8« or »UP 9« several times. ­ The frequency changes in steps of 50 kHz. Storing stations on station positions Up to 10 stations in the FM band and up to 10 stations in the MW band can be stored. 1 2 3 4 5 6 Select the frequency band (FM or MW) using »STOP/BAND«. Press »DOWN 8« or »UP 9« to select the station. Press »PROG/MEM« briefly to activate the memory function. Select the desired station position with »REPEAT/MEM UP« or »RANDOM/MEM DOWN«. Press »PROG/MEM« to save the station. To store more stations, repeat steps 2 to 5. [. . . ] ­ The whole CD is played back repeatedly. To quit the function, press »MODE« until the repeat indicator goes out.
