General safety instructions • Before plugging the appliance into the mains, check that the voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate found on the base of the steam generator. • This appliance must be connected to an earthed socket. We do not recommend the use of an extension cable, however if you need to use one, please ensure that it is suitable for its use with this appliance. If using an extension cable, make sure that it has a 16 A bipolar socket with an earth connection. • This appliance must only be used for the purposes for which it was designed, i. e. Any other use will be considered improper and consequently dangerous. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for any damage arising from misuse or improper use. • The electrical plug must not be removed from the socket by tugging on the cable. • Do not leave the appliance exposed to weather conditions (rain, sun, frost, etc. ). • Do not leave the iron unattended while it is plugged in. 6.
