Overfill Protection Float Washing Washing glows while the dishwasher is washing or rinsing the dishes. The overfill protection float (in the front right corner of the dishwasher tub) keeps the dishwasher from overfilling. It must be in place for the dishwasher to operate. Drying Drying glows while the dishwasher is drying your dishes. Clean Clean glows when a cycle is finished.
